My name is Phil Alderman. I have had over 35 years experience in the model car field, and have been selling fine model cars for over 25 years. Back in 1979, I opened a toy and hobby shop in Brooklyn, called Georgetown Hobby. Some of you might remember the store. It was a wonderful meeting place for model car collectors and friends. I closed the store in the late 80's due to my rent going up more than my sales. This was in post Cabbage Patch Doll days when video games started to take hold. I didn't sell video games. Since that time I'm devoted full time to selling models cars to serious collectors. I also produced several ranges of models, such as The Great American Dream Machine, Dust & Glory and QuarterMile. I am proud to say that the models I produced received rave reviews from an international audience. They can be found in public and private collections throughout the world.
Entering the 21st century, we are seeing many new innovations in the industry, with details only imagined just 10 years ago. We are also seeing a greater diversity of subject matter.
I am always available to answer any of your questions. Feel free to email me anytime.
Good collecting
Phil
